  • Call data: audio recordings (where legally required and disclosed), call transcripts, and conversation summaries.
  • SMS data: content of text messages sent to and from your HeyLine number.
  • Configuration data: your business settings, AI instructions, and customization preferences.
  • Analytics data: usage patterns, feature engagement, and performance metrics to improve the service.

Data Storage and Security

All data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest). Access to sensitive data is restricted to authorized personnel only. We conduct regular security reviews and follow responsible disclosure practices.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with: (1) service providers necessary to operate HeyLine (e.g., telephony providers, cloud infrastructure), bound by data processing agreements; (2) legal authorities when required by law. All third-party providers are vetted for compliance with applicable data protection standards.

Retention and Deletion

  • Account data: retained while your account is active and for 30 days after deletion.
  • Call transcripts and SMS data: retained for 90 days by default. You may request earlier deletion.
  • Analytics data: retained in aggregate, anonymized form indefinitely.
  • To request data deletion, email hi@heyline.io with the subject 'Data Deletion Request'.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a 'Do Not Track' (DNT) signal. Our website currently does not respond to DNT signals. We are working to implement this feature in a future update.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie & Data Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on our website. The 'Last updated' date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
